  1. Very good news indeed. President Sisi is no sissy. He is one of the most courageous men alive today. Let us hope that he has good bodyguards, and that the imans of Egypt take note and begin a genuine reformation of Islam which will make its adherents fit for a 21st century civilised world.

  2. I was afraid this 'good news' might be on the cynical side but not a bit! Al-Sisi is really trying to improve Islam from and putting his life on the line to do so. I didn't know much about the man before that speech at Al-Azhar and the positive reaction around the globe shows how keen we are to hear of some/any action taken to improve the situation from within; in the Middle East/East.
